Forbidden Disney Movie and Show Foods We Want To Try

Updated: Aug 29, 2022

We know you thought the same thing too!

Watching Disney movies, Disney Channel Original Movies, and Disney Channel shows growing up there was a ton of food that made us drool. Of course, you can try to recreate the foods at home, but there are some Disney foods that just look better on the screen — or that we’ll never know how to make. Take a trip down memory lane and discover the forbidden foods that we’re always craving, but will probably never get to experience. That is unless Disney wants to open a Cheese Jerky quick service restaurant, of course.

Loco Hot Cocoa - Hannah Montana

What we wouldn’t give for Robby Ray’s signature Loco Hot Cocoa. We just know that it would cure all our woes with its warm chocolatey goodness.

Naco - Kim Possible

Ok, so Ron’s Naco is really just nachos inside of a taco — aka tortilla chips in a tortilla shell. It’s probably not hard to recreate, but there’s something about the dripping tortilla that’s stuffed to the brim that makes it look better on TV.

Mint Sorbet - The Princess Diaries

Did anyone else just assume this sorbet was pear-flavored because that was Genovia’s fruit? Well, apparently the sorbet was mint-flavored and meant to be used as a palate cleanser. Even though it looked so painful to eat, we’d still love to eat like a Genovian princess.

Cheese Jerky - Hannah Montana

I’m the man who had the cheese. I’m the man who had the jerky. We put ‘em both together and yeah it really worky. And we bet it does really worky. Anything dipped in cheese is delish!

Spray Food - Phil of the Future

Who wouldn’t want to just spray your food on the plate and voilà dinner is served? That’s like every lazy cook’s dream! Would it taste good? Who knows, but do you really care when it’s just that easy?

Crème Brûlée - High School Musical

Ok, so Zeke’s goal is to make the perfect crème brûlée, so we might want to wait until he gets it down pat. But either way, a crème brûlée sounds pretty tasty.

Spinach Puffs - The Emperor’s New Groove

Yeah, yeah, you could totally make spinach puffs from a basic recipe, but there’s something about the love Kronk puts into his cooking that lets us know his spinach puffs have to be tasty. He literally abandoned Yzma’s plan to save his spinach puffs.

Ice Cream - Lilo & Stitch

We know the poor guy never got to enjoy the ice cream, but that mint chocolate chip looked delicious. If it were us, we might have scooped the ice cream off the ground Friends cheesecake style.

Oreos & Peanut Butter - The Parent Trap

Sure, this food isn’t Disney-specific and we could go into the pantry right now and recreate the combo. But we just know that being stuck in the Isolation Cabin with an enemy-turned-twin-sister would make the combo taste that much better.

Peanuts - The Proud Family

You can’t judge us for this one, we know you all felt the same way after watching The Proud Family Movie. Those little peanuts were just so cute that it had us craving some trail mix. Talk about really forbidden.
