Review:
Disney uses RumChata to make its martini, but if you want a more espresso martini vibe, you can use 1 ounce of coffee liqueur (like Kahlua) and ½ ounce of Irish cream (like Bailey’s) in place of the creamy, spiced liqueur.Â
This is definitely a post-dinner nightcap drink when you’re just looking for one and done. We ended up tweaking this one per our tastes. I wasn’t a huge fan of the gingerbread syrup, and wanted a non-dairy fix. So I made my version with:
1 ½ ounces of vodka
1 ounce of almond milk
1 ounce of coffee liqueur
1/2 ounce of gingerbread syrup
My boyfriend, Tim, replaced the vodka with 1 ounce of Buffalo Trace Bourbon and then adjusted the rest of the ingredients as follows:
Gingerbread Martini: Tim’s versionÂ
1 ounce bourbon (Buffalo Trace)
1 ounce almond milk
1 ounce coffee liqueurÂ
1/2 ounce RumChata
1 ounce gingerbread syrupÂ
