This refreshing, alcoholic slushy from the France Pavilion is the perfect summer cocktail!

The Grand Marnier Orange Slush can be found at the France Pavilion in the World Showcase at Epcot and it has become a fan-favorite. It is a very refreshing drink that can cool you down in the Florida heat, and it’s easy to make at home too!

Grand Marnier Orange Slush

Grand Marnier Orange Slush

Yields 2 drinks

Ingredients:

  • 1 ounce orange- or mandarin-flavored vodka

  • 1 ounce white rum

  • 1 ounce Grand Marnier liqueur

  • 1 ounce simple syrup

  • 4 ounces orange soda

  • 4 ounces orange juice, frozen in an ice cube tray

  • Ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. The day before you want to serve this drink, make sure to freeze the orange juice in an ice cube tray.

  2. Add orange vodka, white rum, Grand Marnier, and simple syrup to a blender.

  3. Then add orange soda, the frozen orange juice cubes, and a few ice cubes to the blender.

  4. Blend until combined. Add more ice cubes, if needed, and blend again until you have the desired slushy consistency.

  5. Serve in a glass with a wide rim, like a martini or margarita glass, and enjoy!

Review:

This drink can be pretty strong, but you can taste it and then add more of the non-alcoholic ingredients to make it less intense if you’d like. You can also use a drop or two of red or yellow food coloring to adjust the color of the drink to your desired shade of orange. Overall the drink was quite refreshing and delicious — and very easy to make!
