Recipe: Loaded Sweet Potato Fries
Updated: Oct 4, 2023
A sweet sticky treat for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
It was the recipe heard ‘round the (Disney) world this year: The Loaded Sweet Potato Fries from Golden Oak Outpost during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
It’s just a stand, meaning we had to wait in a line longer than even some rides for this party treat—that's why we knew we had to try recreating them at home.
Loaded Sweet Potato Fries
Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
Sweet Potato Fries
Cinnamon Sugar
Butterscotch Chips
Marshmallow Fluff
Toffee or Heath Bars
Instructions:
Bake the sweet potato fries as directed on your package (we recommend using the air fry for greater crunchiness).
Chop up some Heath bars into small pieces and set aside.
Scoop the marshmallow fluff out of the jar and microwave in a microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds.
Place a handful of fries onto your serving platter.
Pour the melted marshmallow mixture on top of the fries.
Top with a handful of butterscotch chips and Heath bar pieces.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and enjoy!
Takeaway:
This recipe is easily executed at home if you don’t mind getting a little sticky! Although I baked my fries, I thought they had a similar texture to the ones we got at the party. Perfect to make to watch Disney Halloween movies or go alongside a Hocus Pocus Charcuterie Board.
