DIY Mason Jar Snow Globe
How to create a fun knick-knack for your memories.
Once upon a time I was an RA, and I had to get real crafty with program ideas. So we made these mason jar snow globes as a fun reprieve from finals.
Whether you want to remember a recent Disney trip, or just want to create a fun decoration for your home, this is the perfect craft for a snow day.
What You’ll Need:
Gorilla Glue
Glitter
Distilled water
Ribbon (optional)
Styrofoam ball (optional)
How to Assemble:
Glue the Mason jar lid together with Gorilla Glue.
Glue the figurines to the bottom of the inside of the lid. Or, cut the styrofoam ball in half, stick the figurines inside the rounded part, and then secure it with Gorilla Glue.
Leave the lid out overnight to help it harden.
Fill a cup with distilled water. Add a few drops of glycerin and stir.
Add your glitter and stir again.
Pour into the Mason jar until full.
Voilà! You have a snow globe!
