Infinity Stone Cocktail: Mind Stone

You won’t want to miss this mind blowing cocktail

The Mind Stone is one of the most prevalent Infinity Stones in the Marvel Universe — mainly because it’s inside of Vision’s head and most of Avengers: Infinity War is spent protecting it. To make the bright yellow Stone into a cocktail we used the recipe for a Stone Sour from Liquor.com.

Mind Stone Cocktail

Yields 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

• 1 ½ ounces bourbon

• 1 ounce orange juice

• ¾ ounce lemon juice

• 1 ounce simple syrup

• 1 orange wheel for garnish (optional)

• 1 maraschino cherry for garnish (optional)

• Cocktail shaker

Instructions:

1. Add all ingredients to the shaker and shake to combine.

2. Strain into glass filled with ice.

3. Garnish with orange wheel and cherry.

Takeaway:

I had to make this cocktail twice in order to get the color correct — the bourbon turns it a little more brown than yellow. I’m not a big bourbon fan as is, but this cocktail just didn’t taste right to me. Even though there is only ¾ ounces of lemon juice, it’s so overpowering and almost tastes like Lysol. Of course the lemon juice is helping to give it its color, but I care more about taste. So I would skip the lemon juice all together and just use bourbon, orange juice and simple syrup.
