Recipe: Chicken Guy!’s Florida Sunshine Shake

Updated: Sep 18, 2022

Taste the flavors of Florida from wherever you are with this sweet treat.

Have you heard of the new specialty milkshake from Chicken Guy! celebrating the Disney Springs Flavors of Florida event? This new treat is called the Florida Sunshine Shake and features a strong orange and vanilla flavor. It’s very easy to recreate at home with just vanilla ice cream and orange juice!

Florida Sunshine Shake

Yields 2 milkshakes

Ingredients:

  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream

  • 4 cups orange juice

  • Whipped cream, to taste

  • Orange slices (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Add ice cream and orange juice to a blender.

  2. Blend until you have reached your desired thickness. If the shake is too thick, you can always add more orange juice and blend again. If it is too thin, add some more ice cream.

  3. Pour your milkshake into glasses and top with whipped cream.

  4. Add an orange slice for garnish and enjoy!

Takeaway:

This was a very refreshing milkshake that fits perfectly into the lineup of food and drinks at the Disney Springs Flavors of Florida event. The orange flavor really comes through strongly in this drink. If you want it to be a better balance of orange and vanilla, try substituting some of the orange juice for milk. This recipe was so easy to make — it’s basically just a normal milkshake but made with orange juice instead of milk. I would definitely recommend trying it next time you want a refreshing sweet treat!
