Recipe: Mickey Mouse Holiday Brownies
A festive, Disney twist on classic brownies.
If you’re looking for a fun and easy Disney twist on brownies this holiday season, we’ve got this recipe for Mickey Mouse Holiday Brownies! They serve these in the parks at the outdoor kiosks during the holiday season, but you can also easily make them at home with a package of brownie mix.
Mickey Mouse Holiday Brownies
Yields 6 large brownies
Ingredients:
Ghirardelli Ultimate Chocolate Brownie Mix & packet of chocolate syrup
¼ cup water
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 egg
Holiday sprinkles
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 325ºF.
Grease a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.
Combine the water, vegetable oil, and egg in a large bowl.
Add the brownie mix and packet of chocolate syrup to the bowl and whisk to combine.
Pour the brownie batter into the pan and bake for 25 minutes.
After removing from the oven, sprinkle the holiday sprinkles over the brownies. Lightly press the sprinkles into the brownies with a spatula.
Cut a piece of brownie large enough to fit your cookie cutter.
Transfer the cut brownie to a plate and use the cookie cutter to make it Mickey Mouse shaped (and make sure to eat or save the leftover brownie bits from around the cookie cutter).
Enjoy!
Takeaway:
These brownies are delicious and have just the right amount of holiday cheer! You can also make these with other boxed brownie mixes, but I definitely recommend using the Ghirardelli Ultimate Chocolate because it is so good! It has chocolate chips in the mix and a chocolate syrup packet as well. I used a 9x13 pan to get thinner brownies but you can also use an 8x8 or 9x9 square pan if you want the brownies to be thicker. You’ll just need to bake them for about 40 minutes instead of 25.
