Recipe: Thanksgiving Leftover Poutine
EVERYTHING is better with french fries.
Thanksgiving Leftover Poutine is at the top of the list for this holiday season. This recipe is inspired by Gobbler Poutine from The Daily Poutine located in Disney Springs. It’s a fun and easy recipe that you can make your own by incorporating your traditional Thanksgiving dishes. It’s also the perfect meal to throw together after a long day of Black Friday shopping that only requires you to heat up leftovers and cook some french fries!
Here are two variations of ingredients that we recommend:
Wishes and Wayfinding Thanksgiving Leftover Poutine
Ingredients:
Bag of frozen french fries
Shredded turkey
Gravy (whatever kind you have on hand and prefer)
Green beans or green bean casserole
Shredded Colby Jack cheese
Stuffing
Dried cranberries
To recreate the Gobbler Poutine:
Ingredients:
Bag of frozen french fries
Shredded turkey
Turkey gravy
Cheddar cheese curds
Cranberry relish
Instructions:
Start by cooking the french fries in the oven or air fryer according to package instructions.
While the fries are cooking, start warming up your leftovers. Note: Wait until the fries are almost done cooking to make sure everything is hot.
Place your french fries in a bowl and scoop the shredded turkey on top.
Next, pour the gravy over top of the fries and turkey. This will ensure they really soak up the gravy.
Scoop green beans or green bean casserole on top.
Crumble the stuffing and sprinkle on top to act as seasoning.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese and cranberries on top. You can also add more gravy if you’re looking for more flavor.
Takeaway:
This recipe combines all the delicious food from Thanksgiving and only takes as long as the french fries take to cook and scoop in a bowl! If you don’t mind your food touching, then this recipe is for you!
